Severe clotting while on period

I have been having severe clotting during my periods and now they are up to a golf ball size. Is there any help for me.

Do you already have children? Some women have heavier periods than others. If you do not yet have children and do not want them soon you could take birth control which usually causes lighter periods, If you already have your children anddo not want more you could go to your doctor and ask for a uterine ablation like the novasure procedue (look up novasure on the web). I had this done with great result but I am 30 and have 3 children, there is a risk of infertility with this procedure but I was fine with that.
