Should I be concerned about my period?

I'm not sexually active, but my period came a few weeks late. And when it finally did come it was very light and mostly just really dark brown. It only lasted maybe two or so days like that. Usually it's not too heavy and lasts on the short side (maybe five days, but two or three are really light.) I don't have any pain or other problems and recently my diet has changed slightly to include a little bit more protein. Just before my last period I was on a trip and eating and having a different routine than usual. Directly after my last period I got a bad head cold. I know things like that can potentially effect it. Should I be concerned, or just wait to see if it normalizes next month?
