Signs of next menstrual cycle

I usually feel the pain in my ovaries first, but are there others signs I should look out for? I just want to be prepared for when it starts

Hello,
Premenstrual syndrome is the name of a group of physical and emotional symptoms that start 7 to 14 days before your menstrual period begins. The symptoms usually resolve within a few days after bleeding starts. These symptoms include irritability, tension, and dysphoria (unhappiness), stress, anxiety, difficulty in falling asleep (insomnia), headache, fatigue, mood swings, increased emotional sensitivity, changes in libido, bloating, abdominal cramps, constipation, swelling or tenderness in the breasts, cyclic acne, and joint or muscle pain.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hi,
In case of regular cycles, it is mainly the date which is important. Also pain or discomfort or cramping and spotting may be early signs you can look for.
Hope this helps.
