Skin problem spreading to private area!!!

Hi there,
Initially there is a red spot on between my left inner thigh and labia. I visited the dermo (skin) dr. She said it was kinda ezcema+ fungus. I applied the given cream (Travocort, Elomet) but it didn't help much. It now spread the whole labium and my inner labium is itchy and painful. Once getting wet/hot, the skin of whole labium and the skin between labium and inner thighs are terribly red. I was given different antifungal cream and didn't work at all. Later, the urethra and vaginal are infected. They are terribly painful and have pins and needles sensation.

I visited the O&G. The dr said it is becoz of the skin infection and spread to the whole private area. Now, I am on Diflucan 150 once every week x 10 weeks. I was also given Kenacomb Cream (Centacomb Cream). Once the cream was applied on the affected area, it quickly restores the skin color to normal though it is still a bit red and itchy. I found that once the skin was applied cream, the inner labium has less itchy and painful sensation. However, once i didn't apply the cream, the private area and the skin turns red and got extremely itchy and painful.  The O&G confirmly identified that it was becoz of the skin infection spreading to the inner labium and vagina.  I want to ask:
1) Why Travocort/Travogen didn't work at all but only Kenacomb work? They are both antifungal.
2) Is that any other cream without steroid but have similiar component as Kenacomb?
3) Except applying cream, is there any other surgery like laser treatment removing the fungus?
4) The O&G said I can apply the cream only if it is itchy, then will it cause resistance of the fungus if I only apply when necessary?
Thx for reading and looking forward to some advice.

The only thing I can answer is to take a stab at 1), which is to say that since not all funguses are the same, one antifungal might not work on a different kind of fungus than the one it was developed to attack.

Along with the other things you are trying, in your shoes I would try some sitzbaths in a white vinegar and water solution.
