Sore perineum and anus

I have a red sore on the left side of my perineum  and it appears to be an extra flap of skin over my anus. It only hurts when I touch it or wipe it but it is not bad just uncomfortable and when I have sex thats when It hurts the worst. It doesn't hurt when I am sitting down or while I pee, only when I go to touch it or wipe it. Its very sensitive and raw looking.  My anus itches a little from time to time as i walk

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to hemorrhoids or piles. The other possibility is of any bacterial infection of the body. You need to get it evaluated from your doctor and get the bump cultured to confirm the diagnosis. If the hemorrhoids are still small and do not cause any problems, oral medications and an ointment applied on them would be helpful.  Having a high fiber diet and increasing water intake would also help.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
