Sore Breast - swollen

Today my left breast became really sore this afternoon and now on one side of the breast feels swollen and painful to the touch.
I haven't done anything and wondering whether to go to the doctor or wait and see.
Any advise

Hello, my 16 year old daughter who is very active and athletic, has been complaining of left breast pain/tenderness to touch on left side and underneath the breast for about a week now.  No lumps no redness, very sensitive to touch or when raising arm above head. What can it be?? Muscle strain??

maybe a period
or just some odd hormonal imbalance from medication or simple things like exercises.
I'd give it a few days, most things natural to the body go away on their own within a week or so.
