Spotting in between periods

I am just curious has anybody had spotting in between their periods. I had sex on my period on the 1st of May. About 8 days later ( 5 or 6 after my period ended) I noticed spotting in my underwear. It was very light and I never saw this spotting again. I have had no symptoms of STDs (although I know often times they rarely show symptoms) and I know I am not pregnant because I had my next period on the 25 of May. I am just curious if anybody might know what this is?

I've have my own problems with spotting and bleeding, but i experienced that before. After sex i used to bleed, i came to realize that i couldn't have rough sex (sorry to be so blunt) Every time i have sex to hard, i would bleed. Maybe this is happening to you to?

Possibly. We had kind of rough sex during my period. My period then ended on May 2 and I had spotting on May 8th. I never saw the spotting again. I'm not too sure, but when I have sex I am usually dry as hell ...i don't understand that one either.

I'm experiencing this myself right now - except I'm spotting
on my 9th day of my period.  I heard if you have sex while
you're having your period, it could actually make your period
last longer.  Is there any pain with the spotting?  If there
is, if I were you, I would check in with my GYN.  You still
could be pregnant if you had unprotected sex during your last
cycle.  Good luck!
