Swollen Clitoris and itching

I am 19 and I have had yest infections since I started my period when I was 13. But over the years and since i became sexually active I have had more and more yeast infections. Now it is becoming unbearable. I have had 5 yeast infections within the past 5 months. They come after any kind of sexual activity or my period. But i've noticed now that my clitoris has been swelling. I have burning and itch like crazy. It is almost impossible for me to not itch. I have used monistat every time and is not helping as much as it used to. I tried the pill that you take orally and that has worked. But now my problem is I am so itchy and swollen I do not know what to do. I can not do anything without being in extreme discomfort. I do not know what to do and I truly can not take this anymore. PLEASE HELP!

I haven't really seen a doctor for this. I tell the doctor I get frequent yeast infections so they tell me what to do but thats about it. I had a pap smear done though. I have to go back in 6 months. Thanks!

Have you ever seen a doctor for this? Or are you self-diagnosing. It's very possible you could be guessing wrong and you could have another problem. If you've not seen a doctor, it would be good to do so before too long.
