smear down there with natural yogurt. if your at home wear a night shirt and no pants to allow the air to get round it. if these tips dont work see your gp.
I had a simular thing happen to me. It started without any itching, pain, or anything. I was just really swollen and didn't know why. I've never had that happen before. Then I got a little itchy, then sore. Then a full out yeast infection. I was SO itchy and in SO much pain. I had never had anything like that before and had no idea what was happening. The symptoms took a while to come from being a little swollen. About a week I'm guessing?
Apparently it happened because my boyfriend is back in town and we've had too much sex. My body was overloaded with too much good bacteria that it threw of the ph level or something like that and caused a yeast infection.
I bought the internal and external creams, but neither worked immediately. I was in desperate need for a quick remedy. My grandma had told my mom of the most amazing cure that saved me. If you have the latter symptoms, buy a tub of plain quaker oats oatmeal. Fill a warm/hot bath no higher than a foot deep and toss in all the oatmeal. Sit in the bath and you will literally start feeling the effects right away. And since there is such a high concentration of oatmeal to water ratio compared to what you would use to eat, it should not clog your drains. Just let the water run for a couple minutes afterwards.
Oh, and eat lots of yogurt! :)
If that's not it then sometimes that happens from too much dry sex. Maybe you just had a little too much sex for your vagina to handle. Give yourself a rest from sex and and be gentle when wiping. I've heard using Witch Hazel helps because it's an astringent and it is cooling and PH balanced.
If it persists check with your Dr. It could be an STD, though I doubt this one since you're married. But they say some people can carry things without symptoms for a long time before it eventually shows up.
Hope this helps and good luck!
Sounds like an allergic reaction!! Did you use any new creams or something down there when you shaved?
Take some benedryl and see if that helps.
