Trying to conceive.

I am in my twenties and my husband and I are trying to have a baby but I don't get my period on the monthly bases. I will be lucky if I even get it once a year, why could this be?

Hi there and welcome.  Well, if you haven't already, it is time to see a doctor.  Something is clearly amiss and getting pregnant with a once a year cycle is near impossible.  Your hormones could be WAY off, you could have a slow thyroid, if you exercise excessively or diet a lot, that could cause amenorrhea.  But a doctor needs to be involved at this point to evaluate that.   good luck and hope it all works out for you!
