Two Weeks Late

Okay guys so I am two weeks late. We dont use any kind of birthcontrol In the mindset that if it happens it happens. I am 20. I have not had as much stress as I have with my current job but I have switched to night shift. My period cycles are around 28-32 days.  I have taken 4 test but they are negative. This has happened with many woman in my family who later discovered they were preganant. I want to be so I do not know if I am just over thinking things.  I go thursday for blood work and a physical exam. I I have had an increase in vaginal discharge, Tired, kind of moody, I have cramps like I am going to start but AF has not come. About a week after I ovulated I spotted for a few days and had slight cramps. I am Gasy, Constipated, I have constant dry mouth and a really weird taste in my mouth. Kind of like I have had dirty pennies in my mouth. I also have horrible acne.my under arms are slighty tender and sore.  Any ideas on what else could be going on? Thank you in advance for your advice!

It sounds like you are but that's a lot of symptoms so quick. So I think because you want to be it could be in your head or at least some of them. Anywho if that happened to a lot of ladies in your family then there is a good possibility because genes do pass over and some women don't produce enough of the hormone the at home tests keep up until a bit later. So the blood test is a splendid idea, to be sure. The spotting could have been implantation bleeding. Also some ladies do miss their periods one month and next month get their period. So a blood test and time will only tell.

It is really rare to get a false negative.  Like 1 percent of the total population so I wouldn't believe you are pregnant if you get a negative pregnancy test.  As far as symptoms go, every woman is different but generally, women do not have that many symptoms early on. The reason they have the symptoms is because of the pregnancy hormones you are testing for.  The test that showed none of these hormones.  So, doubtful that what you are experiencing is due to pregnancy.  never say never, but doubtful.

The fact that you switched to night shift is enough to throw your hormones out of wack.  I would take another test in a week though just to confirm.  good luck and keep trying.  It wILL happen eventually.  peace
