Two and a half months late for menstration

I have not had my period since October 6th and it is December 24th. During this time I led a missions trip into Fiji for 7 weeks. It was very stressful, a huge climate change, and different diet/ exercise routine. I have been back from Fiji for two and a half weeks now. I have taken a pregnancy test ( when I was about 2 months late) that came out negative, and I have had no symptoms of pregnancy whatsoever ( I am the mother of three and have always had very obvious pregnancies early on; morning sickness, breast tenderness, stomach sensitivity etc...) I know  it is common for traveling to interfere with my cycle, but at what point should I expect to have it return to normal? How long is too long?
