ULTRASOUND SHOWS UTERUS CYST ON CERVIX

I am 28 years old and I have been having a lot of pain in my lower abdomen through out the day and dur8ing sex. I have also been having bleeding each time me and my boyfriend have sex so I went to my doctor last week. She had an ultrasound done and I got the results done today. She said I have 3 cysts, 2 on my left ovary and one on my right. She also said there was a 4cm cyst in my uterus on my cervix. I am a mother of three boys so I had my tubs tied last year. What is weird also is that my WBC is high and so she had blood drawn today and I have had a full pap and know theres no infection or pregnecy. What does this mean? Could this cyst actually be a tumor or cancer? I see a specialist on monday but that is so long to wait! I am scard about the cervix cyst the most. Please help with info if you know anything. Thank-you to whomever can help even a little. Juls

I have been having problems for 10 years now.. and I`m only 25. Lately though it`s become worse. I`ve always had my period every 2 weeks.. for a full 4-5 days... always bled heavily and had massive cramps. In grade 10, I found out I had cysts on my ovaries. They just dissolved and I went on...not thinking about it. Lately, I have been bleeding every single time I have sex with my boyfriend, and sometimes it hurts. I often get sharp pains in my right side. I finally went back to the doctor today to find out that I have cysts on my ovaries which will need to be removed. I`m scared that they will fine something else, and I`m also concerned about fertility. This message board is very useful.. thanks...

Go have it drained. She says that it did not look like cancer but it was fairly large. Now I ned to know how and where do i start finding a doctor that will understand what this is and remove it for me i have PPO health coverage. Please someone help me. I really dont know what to think anymore. I am confused. I just got back from have a pelvic ultrasound and I have three cysts on my cervix and the technician could not see the ovaries because of scar tissue from my c-section 9 years ago. He tells me I may have to have a CT scan. This is where it gets scary. The only thing that runs trhough my head is cancer. My daughters grandmother  passed away form ovarian cancer. She is scared that I might leave her. It all started when I was having pain in lower left pelvic area and having missed periods. My testoterone levels are at a 22 which is very high.. This they say is usuallly caused from polysitic ovarian syndrom. My doctors say the only way they can treat it is birth control pills. But every article I read the pills dont work. There must be a different way to treat this. I have  the symptoms of this syndrom obese,  facial hair, and missed periods.  I have been thinking about Weight loss surgery. I know that the polysistic ovarian syndrom I am at high rish for heart disease, diabetes which already runs in the family and cancer. This also causes weight gain. which seems to be very true. I lose then gain and bacvk and fourth. Any insights what to do.

I am 42 yrs old, a diabetic and was diagnosed with a cyst in my uterus
and a polyp in my gallbladder. What worried me most is the cyst because for 3 weeks now my lower back pain occurs down to my toes.
Is it my cyst a cancerous? my doctor advice me to take another transvaginal ultrasound. Last month I did have my whole abdominal ultrasound and still they saw the cyst which I did have last year.
I am so worried and needs help. thank you.

Hello, my doctor gave me a pelvic Ultra Sound and found cysts on both my Ovaries and on my cervix. Should I be worried about the one on my cervix? I just need to make sure that it is in deed a harmless cyst and not a something I need to fear. What should be my next step with that? Also can cyst disappear and never return. If I keep healthy and excerise often should I be alright? I ned to know because I would like to have children one day and with my current situation it is almost hopeless. Any insight you could give will be greatly appreciated.

Thank-you for your info, I am going to see a Womans Health Sepecialist. He is the same doctor that did my tubal. I was wold endometriosis cause the absent of period? Will it cause problems if I still have sex with my boyfriend? He is getting deployed the 12th of May and so you can understand why I would be more anxiouse to be intiment with him.

If it's not uncomfortable having sex, go crazy! I don't think endo causes missed periods but your boyfriend leaving sure would. Any sort of stress, whether you consciously feel it or not, can cause a change in period. Also, you are at the age now where your period is likely to change slightly anyway so that could be part of the process. Our bodies (and cycles) change as we age, so I wouldn't really worry about it. It sounds like you are taking care of your health and if you do have endo,  there are ways to manage it. Good luck!

Cervical cysts are incredibly common, especially in women who have had children. Most are harmless. I would not be too worried about it at all. What sort of specialist are you seeing? WBC can be high for any number of reasons, even if you have a flu bug or something, so don't get all stressed about that either.

I suspect you could have endometriosis which would cause your pain and bleeding.
