UTI or Bladder Infection?!?

It has been 3 days now that I have been feeling the need to constantly go urinate. It doesn't burn and I urinate normally so I am not sure if its a UTI although I do have the sensation on needing to go often and I feel like there is pressure in my bladder...which of the both could it be I don't want to take medication for UTI when it could possibly be a bladder infection.

Yes, the urinary tract runs from the bladder to the kidney. So a bladder infection is a UTI.  They are treated by antibiotics.  You may be in the early stages and the burning pain hasn't started.  If you 'know' something is wrong, make an appt. with your doctor and you'll do a urine test there.  They culture it over 24 hours.  I left an office being told I didn't have one but 8 hours later, they called to say it was now positive.  Because that does happen, they had already sent me home with antibiotics based on my symptoms reported.

So, see your doctor.  Good luck

I get UTIs that is basically a bladder infection. Take a clean catch urine sample in to your doc to look at under microscope.  If you need it do antibiotics...only way to clear it up.
