Anyone notice weight loss after removing an IUD?

I have had the IUD for just about a year. I gained some weight after it was placed but I can't contribute the weight gain to it as I know I wasn't eating right. Over the last six months I have tried to loose the weight, exercise and eating much better. But I didn't loose a single lb. I got my IUD out for various reasons and now wondering if I will be able to loose the weight much easier. Anyone experience this, please give me some hope!! :) thanks so much
