Used Monistat 1 then Monistat 3, how do I know when the yeast infection is gone?

I was on Amoxycillin for a couple weeks because I had Bronchitis and then right before I was supposed to get my period last week I started having yeast infection symptoms. I've only ever had one before but I went to the doctor that time and it was a different kind of infection so I'm not sure what to expect. My sister said the Monistat 1 usually works for her so I tried that and close but no cigar, I wasn't sure if my symptoms were gone because I started my period. During my period my symptoms seemed better but my mom said to do the Monistat 3 or 7 so I did the Monistat 3 on Friday (since I'd already done the 1 Day I figured maybe I wouldn't need the 7). Now it's Tuesday and I've started taking my pill again (Lutera) and my period is gone, and it's the second day after my final capsule of the Monistat 3. I think my symptoms are mostly gone because I haven't had any yeasty discharge in about 5 days and the last two applications of the Monistat didn't burn or itch at all - but I still feel a bit sore down there - how long should I wait to know if the yeast infection is healed? Should I bit the bullet and do the Monistat 7 day or spend the money on a doctor's visit instead? Any advice would be very helpful! I don't want to risk having sex until I know for sure I'm healthy.

I had a yeast infection and just did a vinegar douse 3 times a day. It kills the infection and washes it out.
