Vagina Pain, could it be an ulcer??

I have interstitial cystitis and about two months ago my doctor said that I have bladder ulcers, however she didn't do or say anything more about it.  Recently when me and my boyfriend have been having sex I have had this pain inside of my vagina like it feels like he is rubbing against something. It feels like a cut or something. The pain is excruciating!!  Could this be the bladder ulcer or an STD??

You'd need to go to a doctor to find out.  Hope everything turns out ok.

Bladder ulcers are normal with IC.  Nothing really to do about them other than usual IC treatment.

Pain with sex is also very common with IC.

Since this pain is new you definitely need to have a pelvic exam.  Yes it could be the IC or STD or lack of lubrication or a small vaginal abrasion/laceration or several other possibilities...
