Vaginal bump which keeps increasing and decreasing

I am a 28yr old virgin girl. I have had a bump on labia majora which is not going away on its own. Its not irritating me, not itching. But just weird to touch. Should I be concerned? It feels like its present only on the skin, I have felt for lumps but there is none. This bump seems superficial but I still can't stop thinking. Please help

Hi there.  Well, we do sometimes get little bumps.  Good to know you are a virgin as that makes any std concerns zero!  It's not uncommon to get little cysts in that area.  Keep your hands off it so you don't infect anything!  They could be Fordyce spots which are completely harmless but usually have a color to them like white or yellow.  I would really guess it is one of those two things.  I'd not be too worried.  One other possibility but it usually happens at age 30 and up is seborrhoeic keratoses--  called senile warts.  They are these warty things that just kind of happen as you get older and can happen anywhere on the body.  They are often darker in color. But they are not dangerous and do not turn into cancer.

Do you go for an annual pap smear?  This is always a good idea and if you haven't been in a while, schedule one and ask which one of these possibilities this is.  But I would not worry that it is dangerous--  just to know to identify it.  good luck and please let me know what you think!
