Vaginal pain (tears)

I have read the comments posted on "vaginal tears" and it appears that there is no real cure for them.  I am wondering if the creams and ointments that have been suggested are used as treatment after the pain is discovered of can be used as a preventative measure.  My husband and I are trying to get pregnant and the fact that it is difficult for us to even get into sex makes this process even more unbearable.  Even applying vaginal lubricants causes stinging sensations to the area.  The tears are at the 6 and 12 o'clock positions.  Any information that you can provide will help.  Thanks.

This problem has nothing to do with Herpes or Yeast or Bacteria. I don't know what it has to do with but I definitly know neither of those three are the culprits!! Let's get past that and try and look at what else is causing these problems. I have had this for about 5 months now. I have been through my Primary Care doc, a clinic, my gyn, and now I am being sent to a dermatologist. They have ran tests ranging from yeast, bacterial, STD's including herpes and had a biopsy, ALL NEGATIVE.

The GYN thinks it's not an internal problem and that's why she is sending me to the dermatologist. After reading about all of the others, one said she's been suffering for 15yrs, You would think someone would have figured this out by now. I am thinking this has something to do with hormones. It seems that all of us have it really bad the week before our periods all the way up the the ending of it.

Have you been tested for herpes? Sometimes herpes can cause "papercuts", although if this is a constant, long term problem, that seems unlikely. Yeast can cause these cuts too. I've also read that some women have been prescribed a topical estrogen cream that's really helped. But no matter what, you definitely need to see your doctor.

this seems to be a real issue among woman on this forum and many of you have posted an extraordinary amount of times. i have scanned the posts here and there and have picked up on a little of this and a little of that. some have said gynocologists have no explination? i find that difficult to believe based upon how common this is. it also seems that when someone posts, the other is so happy that they are not alone in this situation. i do not understand why this is such a phenomonom? i do not experience this nor do i want to minimize it but sometimes i can relate. only when my husband buys the cheap toilet paper. it seems that when i wipe, the paper gives me slight cuts (paper cuts). that is the only time i experience what you ladies express. it goes away quickly though, like the next day until i wipe again. believe it or not but its worse when i have my period? i dont know the answers. i hope someone does.
