No, there is not. I thought maybe it could be an infection or something, before I went to the doctors and even after, so I checked out the symptoms and ran down the list to see what I have or, didn't have.
Doctor said I don't have one, either.
I think there may be some tearing. But, I'm not entirely sure. My partner and I decided to stay away from sex for a while.
We are going to try different lubricants later, too. See if that helps as well.
Just wanna know if there could be other causes aside from infection and muscle spasms.
Do you have a white pasty discharge during sex??
in my experience if the doctors advice doesn't fix your problems you need an expert - see a gynaecologist. If this had happened EVERY time you have sex, it definitely could be a muscle relaxing thing, but this is a new development recently, so best to see a ob/gyn. My other advice is to rule out any possible other causes for pain and tenderness in the region - ie a regular STI check and make sure you dont have a yeast infection. Sometimes what can happen is that you can get small tears and abrasions at the entrance or within the vagina.... these can be sore and tender at penetration then the pain gradually lessens.... Abstaining from sex for a couple of weeks will usually give plenty of time to heal and then make sure you use truckloads of water based lubricant to ease penetration and friction on the delicate tissue when you do have sex.
good luck
I think your doctor is rite. You need to relax yor muscles before you have penetrative sex. it hapnes to everyone. Your vagina will feel "tight" as you so described and that aftre a few thrusts it goes away.. (ie your vagina is dilating and making itslef accomodate your partners penis). Penetrartion is normally made easier when your vagina lubricates itself and thus be ble to accommodate your partners penis.. this is all totally normal. If you want it not to hurt so much , try using a litle extra lubricant such as KY jelly.. to ease his entry. I hope this has helped ^_^
