Very Early Miscarriage? And producing breast milk? Please help

Hello,
I am hoping to find some answers to my wierd situation.  I had a miscarriage two weeks ago tomorrow. (It was actually considered a "chemical pregnancy" because I found out I was pregnant very early on (4 weeks and 3 days).  5 HPT's came up positive, doctor's came up negative Hcg was 4 the day that I had all the bleeding. I had an ultrasound a week after the miscarriage to make sure that there was nothing lest in my uterus- it was all clear.  Anyway- since then I started having extremely painful breasts. Yesterday- I was doing a self breast exam and what looked like milk came out of one of my nipples. Today- the white discharge has come out of both nipples.  Please tell me what you think is going on.
Thanks so much.

hcg doubles every 24-48 hours.  You should be able to retest in 2-3 days and see if your hcg continues to go up.  Usually docs wait a week between tests.  How many weeks are you and how serious is the bleeding?

My miscarriage at 9 weeks produced milk about a month or so later.  Not much, but heavy breasts and discharge.  Wear tight bra, like an exercise bra for about a week and it should resolve itself.  If not, go see your OB.

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage.

It could be that the hormones are still left in the body.
Don't worry.
