Very light period last month and now getting period 15 days earlier.

I had my period  a bit over two weeks ago on the usual day (I get it every 28 days) and it came really weirdly- there was only some light spotting and nothing else. I had two pregnancy tests which came negative. I had gone on a trip and assumed it was because of that.
However today I just got bleeding again. It's as heavy as a period and I am cramping. It's only two weeks and it was supposed to be my ovulation time. I am really worried as I have not had my pap test for at least 4 years. What should I do?

We can have blips in our period where it acts weird, comes heavy and then light or is not on our regular schedule.  Your trip could indeed be involved.  However, you haven't had a pap in a really long time so my advice is to go ahead and get yourself in for that.  They can check you for pregnancy to rule it out. But try not to worry. Abnormal bleeding in a young woman is rarely anything to be concerned about.  Do have your pap though.  Let us know.  good luck
