Watery discharge..."normal" after NOVASURE?

I had the novasure procedure on June 4th...all seemed as has been described, However, I am experiencing clear type discharge....did anybody else experience that???  HELP!! PLEASE...I am needing to wear a pad to protect my clothes and I worry whether it is urinary incontinence or part of this procedure...it is minimal but inconvenient!!

I had the novasure procedure done on 6/14/16 and the first 2 weeks I had a constant clear discharge with pink and light brown spotting and occasional lining shedding. It's been a little over 3 weeks now and I am feeling better. Discharge is very light. I have had 2 and I feel fine.

I just had my procedure 5 days ago (01/28/2014). The procedure went well, no more pain than expected. I haven't had any cramping or bloating to speak of. I do have that watery discharge that gushes at the most inconvenient times. However, today I have noticed less watery discharge, so I am excited about that. I have a very competent doctor, so think that helps. I am so sorry you all have had bad experiences. Well wishes to all. I will let you know if my condition changes. But, at this moment in time I am extremely happy with my procedure.

Hello,  I had all the symptoms described except not to such a degree.  My op was on 14/09/2012 and it's now 18days later and feeling back to normal except the yellow discharge which I am told is due to the internal scabbing healing.  I hardly bled since and have only needed to use a large normal panty liner.  I was due a period the week after the op which never arrived. About a week later I had a pink/brown watery discharge .  This was a bit annoying as you could feel a slight flooding  at times but after  about 11 days it was yellow which is minimal and I have read lasts the longest up to 6 weeks.  The things that were annoying was the cramping on and off and the bloating which is now reduced slightly but is significant.  As my sister works in a hospital she advised me to completely rest for first week and as I was anaemic to take vitamin C and E on top the iron tablets as this will aid the production of red blood cells and boost the immune system .  I found when I did too much I had more cramps and more discharge so I followed her advice and found I felt much better and just the odd cramping etc.  Doing too much is easily done but if you can feel back to normal quicker then it’s worth it as you are healing.  I waited 16 days to have sex and everything was as normal for all those that would like to know! Hopefully things will continue to improve and I am assuming everyone who’s happy with the results don't post as often. Hopefully this will give some hope.

I am also having a brownish/yellowish discharge and pain/cramping one month after this surgery.. they want me to come in for a 'tampon test' to see if I have urine leaking.. this is totally stressing me !  I'm starting to think I was better off before with the bleeding !

I had the Hysteroscopy Dilation and Curettage with Novasure Ablation procedure two days ago. I am having the normal discharge and cramping, but I am having swelling of my hands and feet. I have not called my Doctor yet. Do you know if this is side affect? My stomach is also really swollen? I would appreciate any feedback.

Thank you so much for your honesty in describing your experience, especially about the watery discharge.  I have had exactly the same symptoms and have been worried sick thinking the procedure might have perforated my bladder.  I had the procedure done about 3 weeks ago and the pinkish discharge disappeared after about 1 week only to be replaced by this clear/yellowish watery discharge towards the front of my pad.  After my two week follow-up, the doc said discharge was normal for up to six weeks so I'm trying to be patient, but honestly, I'm getting vey nervous it could have something to do with my bladder. I have never had incontinence problems prior to this procedure. It helps to know others are experiencing the same symptoms - hope it will just clear up soon.  Keep us posted.

Hi, I think it does sound the same, as I have often noticed that if I dont put the panty liner in the 'right' place, some of the discharge will end up on my underwear, at the front!  I  sometimes find in the mornings,while getting ready to shower, that I will sometimes find a small trickle running down my legs. As it only happens like that in the morning, ( and not when I need a pee) Im hoping its NOT incontinenece as I would imagine that THAT could/would not be so time specific? I have never had bladder weakness, and in fact, having had 3 children, was really very concientious in performing my pelvic floor exercises, and would say that they are in pretty good shape, so Im hoping really that this is just post op 'normal' taking its time settling down. I wonder if the severity of the pre procedure symptoms, has anything to do with it. Obviously every one who has the op, had heavy or difficult periods, but there are probabaly varying degrees of severity. I was so anaemic that my doctors twice wanted me to have blood transfusions, and I had difficulty breathing etc, hair loss, memory loss ( maybe that was just my age lol) and blood loss so heavy I had to use diapers to contain it and couldnt get out of bed for 2 days a month. My consultant said it was a 'very serious case', so Im sort of thinking THATS why its taking me so long to recover fully? I get my test results on Thurs, and I will let you know. I did think about trying to get hold of some of those litmus paper strips that  they use to see if ( when pregnant) if the fluid some women leak is amniotic, or urine, when a woman isnt sure if her waters have broken? I havent gotten around to seeing if they are available at the pharmacy or somewhere.

I appreciate your feedback, to be very clear, this "discharge" is clear and appears toward the front of a pantyliner...not directly below my vagina where period staining would appear, are we referring to the same thing??...I am just very worried about potential incontinence....  If you look at this site you do see a lot of complaints and symptoms we were not explained but there must be millions of success stories...And we don't see them because they are continuing on with their lives...I am not due for my cycle until this week so I will keep my fingers crossed that I have no residual effects. I am sorry for your discomfort.  Thanks again VERY MUCH!

Hi I had the Novasure done in early April 08, so nearly 12 wks ago now. I got my period on time , and have now had 2, 3rd due any day. The bleeding has been less , but the cramps and pain has been much worse, painkillers dont touch it ( even with codeine!) and I am very nervous about my next period, as the 2nd was worse than the first.
I had the watery discharge for almost 8WEEKS, and even now, there is still enough each day to need a few panty liners. I have had some swabs done at my doctors, (results this week) as I was concerned it could be an infection, although there is no bad odor, or itching etc, just this intermittent trickle, which as you say, is minimal, but inconvenient. I was also concerned in case this was some sort of incontinence/ bladder damage from the procedure, although the discharge doesnt small like pee! ( how else do I say it lol)  I am realy less than thrilled by my results so far, and the increased pain during my period is a complete shock and something no one mentioned prior to the procedure, although looking through other posta I see its a common thread.
I would say that it really hasnt been very long since you had the procedure, and I wouldnt worry about the discharge until at least 8wks . Whe I spoke to the hospital at 7wks post op, they said that 'anything' discharge wise, can be normal, up to 12 wks after.
