What should a women be doing to stay healthy?

I have recently been dealing with a lot of stress from school and family. I've noticed that it has started to affect my health. In the last two years I have developed a slight sensitivity in the lungs triggered by allergies (something like extrinsic asthma). I've been to the ER twice for this.

My heart rate has also been considerably high and I have started going to a cardiologist. Although this could be due to my slight anxiety, it's not severe and I am able to handle it with yoga.

I am someone that has been healthy for most of my life (apart from minimal hypo-thyroid). I don't want to depend on medications and inhalers. So I am wondering what I should be doing naturally to promote my physical and mental health as a woman.

I thought about starting a food based multivitamin and adding certain foods to my diet. I would love to hear of any natural remedies and habits I could take up to balance my health again. Any ideas? Like essential oils, foods, vitamins, meal staples, teas ect.

Also I would love to learn from your personal experiences!!
