19, Virgin, but reoccurring zit like lumps on my inner labia?

I only get one at a time and Ive only had maybe 5 at this point, but they are painful. Some hurt when I walk, cross my legs when I sit, and even when I wipe. it is in a moist area but is regularly cleaned (I have a removable shower head that I use to wash there with only warm water, no soap because I am aware of the whole PH balance and stuff.) I only wear cotton underwear, I don't shave down there but i do shave my bikini line, I don't use tampons, I am on the pill, i am not sexually active as I am a virgin, but I did have a boyfriend about 2 years ago who did go down on me. i do not think anything could link to him, and to show up 2 year later as well? but these zit like things can be small like the size of a little pearl on-top of a sewing pin, or they can be the size of a large pea and as hard as a marble. in the past i have tried sits baths and trying to squeeze the marble but it never pops like a zit, however it does break apart the marble with a very feel-able squish, I guess i could compare it to be simular to a mashed potato filled water balloon.

Any help as to what is causing these zits would be greatly appreciated.

Whew, a mashed potato filled water balloon does paint quite the picture.  We can get ingrown hairs and infected hair follicles.  Don't mess around with it with your hands as you can transfer bacteria to it and make it worse.  Is this something you could ask your mom about or even see a doctor just to examine?
