If you're on birth control,  you may not have bleeding at all between birth control packs.

You won't have an actual "period" on birth control,  because you won't be ovulating.  But between packs,  you have a little hormonal bleeding that is usually much less heavy than an actual menstrual period.

It sounds like you actually do have a regular cycle,  it's just longer than one month?  Do you have a period every 5 or 6 weeks?  Less frequently?

That's something that has always happeded to me as well...It could be because of multiple things...If you have a very stressful life or just always fun your self stressing over things, you will notice that the patterns of your period will change as well as when It starts
