Why do I have vaginal odor years after hysterectomy?

I had my uterus, Fallopian tubes, and cervix removed 2 years ago. Ever since then I’ve had a horrible vaginal odor. I smell like an outhouse in less than a day. I have no discharge or other symptoms. What could be causing this. I’m really embarrassed to talk to my doctor about this.

That's annoying, right?  Often a bad odor is because of infection.  You could have  bacterial vaginosis.  I assume you don't douche . . . and you shouldn't. That makes it worse. Doctors are immune to odor.  You will have 'something' they can swab to see if it is BV. Do you use an estrogen cream or take any hormonal supplements since the hysterectomy?
