Why is my period 9 days late?

I often have my periods one or two days early/late but never this late. There’s no chance of me being pregnant and I don’t have any medical problems that I’m aware of. My skin broke out a week before I was due as per usual but now it is just getting worse and it gets later. I’ve never missed a period before but I’ve heard it is possible? I haven’t been doing much excercise recently and four days ago I found out there had been a death of one of my close family members so I have been grieving and not sleeping much, maybe that has something to do with it? Is there anything I can do to make it occur soon or is there an explanation to this?

Since you are going through a hard time which is severe stress and changing lifestyle, it is normal for you to have some physical outcomes.
My period is 9 dayd late as well and they told me its because i have travelled overseas.
Maybe its true
Keep me posted please ❤

Periods can be late for a variety of reasons including trauma, illness, stress, changes in routine, weight gain or loss, etc.  You've gone through a rough time lately with the death and things going on in your home (sad people) related to it.  If there is no chance you are pregnant, I'd chalk it up to a blip on the hormonal radar and that your period should come soon.  If this pattern continues, you can talk to your doctor about it but most women are late like this from time to time.  good luck
