Why won’t my cycle become regular ?

Hey, i am 17 yrs old turning 18 in august, i have never seen a gynecologist nor had a regular check up since august of 2014 (medicaid issues) so with that being said my issue is my irregular cycle. April 17th 2016 my cycle started as usual(no pains of any sort) I WAS ALSO A VIRGIN but after 7 days it continued.. and continued.. i finally got ahold of some teen vitamins that contained “vitamin K” & it actually stopped it! unfortunately if i missed a day w/o taking them it would start right back up before the next day even started, my cycle finally became regular August 4th 2016 (lost my virginity at this time) but it was regular. MAY 2017 irregular cycle started BACK UP and has not ended yet and it is MAY 15th 2018, but THANK GOD that with all that is going on i never ever ever had any pains of any sort throughout my irregular period.
Could someone PLEASE tell me what is going on?

So, really, being irregular is common for a lot of women.  Especially in your age range.  And especially if you were trying to manipulate it yourself with Vit K or supplements. Self treating isn't a great idea.  What about Planned Parenthood for you?  It's really teen friendly and you do have to pay but it is on a sliding fee scale.  It's a subsidized program meaning it's available for those without regular insurance and who can't pay.  They ask for a 4 week snapshot of your income like pay stubs (if you have none, you have none).  The purpose of this which again is subsidized by taxes is to provide care for women.  You should be able to get a regular pap smear there as well as discussion about your period issues.  You may be able to get BC pills for free which would stabilize your cycle which is what is often done when irregular.  So, consider that.  good luck
