Why won't my period stop?

I started my period last week and it's going past 5 days. I had pretty heavy blood flow, I would change my pad in 2 & 4 period. Now is the time I'm supposed to stop, it's thinner but I still have to wear a pad. I can go all day with 1 pad though. Is this normal? I'm getting a little worried ( I started my period on Wednesday night last week and it's Wednesday night now)

That's normal! Don't worry. It varies for every woman, but 7 days isn't irregular.

A period can last as long as 7 or so days. It can also change a bit depending on your stress levels over the last month or so. I would worry only if it lasts past 10 days.
