Yeast Infection Question

I have a yeast infection for the first time.  I have never had sex or even been with a man before and then I met this guy and we started having oral sex.  Then right before my period I started getting really itchy and when I looked down there the area around the vaginal opening was all white, with little clumpy looking things.  I asked around and everyone said that the symptoms (burning, itchy, and white vaginal opening) were that of a yeast infection.  My question is can the fact that this guy has bad breath a lot and he was giving me oral sex have anything to do with my getting a yeast infection?

Thanks

Thanks, it did go away after my period, but then it came back and I went to the doctor and got Diflucan and it helped.  But I did find out that the guy was using a mouthwash called biotene, which is for dry mouth, but it affects the bacteria within the mouth and the ph levels.  I haven't asked a doctor or anything, but I think that is what caused the problems for me.

just saying through my experience i had a yeast infection and once i got my period and it finished it went away.  cause the ph in your body down there is so high during your period that yeast can't live in it.  my dr. said that to me.  good luck.

Okay I am not sure if the yeast infection will go away after your period stops, but I maybe wrong. I know for me that is not true. A yeast infection can be passed during oral sex if in fact the man is caring it. I do not know if bad breathe is an indicator, you would need to check with a doctor on that.
Candidia yeast is a bacteria that breeds in the bowl and can effect many parts of your body. To avoid further infections, do not ****** because it strips all the good bacteria out and allows the bad bacteria a better place to grow. Eating yogert is a good way to get good bacteria in your system as well as taking acidopolis (sp). For your current infection, there are over the counter medications such as Monostat that might take care of it. If not you can talk to your doctor about take Diflucan.

i have a question for you, did these things go away or are you still on your monthly cycle.  Cause once your period is over the yeast infection will go away.  As far as your question I have no idea maybe you just had something else cause it.  I hope you are better.
