Yeast Infection

Yesterday I was diagnosed with a yeast infection and the doctor gave me a Diflucan (sp?) pill which I took around 4pm. Today, I noticed the one scratch/cut I had was gone but the area around it seemed dry and flaky. Also, I've noticed a slight increase in discharge nothing extreme but definitely not my normal amount of discharge. I was just wondering if this was normal? Thank you.

Ok well its good they actually did a test. It is possible u could just be having a reaction to the medicine especially since that are is very sensitive or as i said it could possibly be BV. That would need to be treated by a simple does (i believe mine was 3 days) of antibiotics and it will be gone. Good luck n keep me posted

Hello hun, did they do a pap smear with u? Or did they just tell u it was a yeast infection based on symptoms. I thought i had a yeast infection n it turned out to be BV which can only be treated with antibiotics and can be harmful in the long run.
