Yeast infection cuts or something more?

I recently began having sex again. Even though he goes down on me everytime sometimes it still feels a little dry. Last month we went away for the weekend and he came in me for the first time.  The last morning we had sex pretty fast and I started my period. When we got home a couple hours later my vagina was so raw, tender,, inflamed and itchy. At some point I noticed some cuts. It all got worse over the next couple of days. At the end of my period I noticed a terrible smell.by the time I could get into the doc the smell was not as bad and the cuts were almost healed.  She said the cuts were from sex and I should use lube and she did a pap and that came back with BV and some yeast.  In the meantime my boyfriend had come back in town and we started having sex. Not too much but I’ve def noticed that my discharge throughout the month has not been what it normally is.  I then started taking the medicine for BV. A few days after the last time we had sex (which I guess was maybe a little rough) I noticed a lot of cuts this time I think there were more than before. But is scared me that I didn’t notice it the next day that it took me a couple of days to notice. At this point this is all a few days before my period was going to be starting agsin.  I’m close to the end of my period and the cuts are finally almost healed. I finished my BV medicine and took the yeast infection pill she gave me. Ended up doing that on the first day of my period.   I’m really scared that the cuts are herpes.  He says that he has recently been tested but what if I had it before and didn’t know or what if he has it and doesn’t know. My inner labia are larger than the outer so I can get sensitive down there.  Sometimes I can even feel tender doen there from wiping. I haven’t had many partners or even a lot of sex so I don’t know if this is normal for me.  This was the first time that I’ve ever had cuts like this level. And it all started that first weekend he came in me and I got BV and yeast. So is it from me reirritating my vagina by having sex before I was done with medicine or is it something more.
