Yeast infection!

I have had a yeast infection for a year now. The doctors cannot get it to go away. I've been through ten plus Diflucans no results and suppositories no results. But my yeast infection only started after I took lamictal. Has anyone else had this problem? How did your doctors get your yeast to go away?

Also I've been tested for ghonnera and chylmidia. Because I have yellow discharge. Those were negative my gyno said it's yeast that's it. I was also tested for STI's last September and those were all negative. I'm so frustrated. I just want It to go away!

This link may help or it will at least give you some more ideas on what you can try. If your body is out of balance bad it may take a while for it to clear up. I would try the yogurt for at least a month. I eat one 6 oz cup a day to keep everything balanced. http://www.articlesbase.com/womens-health-articles/diflucan-yeast-infection-cure-4829429.html
Hope this helps and you get some relief soon.

Antibiotics kill the good bacteria that help fight yeast infections so that is probably your problem. Try eating yogurt with live cultures everyday to see if that helps balance your body back out. There is also yogurt pills you can take if you do not like it. Yogurt has lactobacillus acidophillus that helps the good bacteria in your body that fights the infections. Best of luck to you.
