Z-pack or Illness delay period?

During the week of Christmas I had a really really bad sinus infection and took a z-pack to try and help. I still have a cough from it which has been a little over a month now.

Also on Dec 23 my fiance had sex (unprotected and he came inside me and please don't tell me whether this is right or wrong cause I know the risks involved)

I was suppose to have my period on the 6th of Jan (but I have been 2 days late every month so that might mean I was suppose to start on the 8th) but I still have not had my period. Some cramping and bloating. And when I wipe I have some light brown discharge

I took a pregnancy test this morning, followed it exactly and it was negative. Than at noon I started to bleed. So I guess I'm not pregnant. I'll know more tomarrow or
even tonight.

(Sorry computer shut down on me and I didn't get to finish my post.

Or it's a yellowish white discharge. I don't know if that means my period is about to come but I'm not sure. I can feel my cervix when I insert a finger inside (sorry tmi). My breasts are slightly sore and my nipples are sore and tender. And no I have no taken a pregnancy test yet.

So can a bad illness or the z-pack delay your period that long?

Or is it more that I'm pregnant?

Any help or advice, maybe personal experience I would appreciate it!
Thank you so very much and I'll keep you updated.
