abdominal frustration

I have had pain for two months now. Started after my cycle. Started in lower left side. Has since moved to right side to middle,  up my ribs and into my back. I should mention a year ago I had a ruptured cyst in left overie. The pain is similar that why I went to doctor. In TWO months I have had two ultrasounds, paps, ct scan, UGI, colonascpy, and few days ago exploritory surgery.  I don't have kidney stones, Gaul stones, pregnant. I do know they found discoloration on pelvic wall and some fluid but haven't got them results yet. Its very frustrating to be in pain but doctors tell u everything normal. Someone help!

I'm sorry you have suffered for four months with no answers either. I am happy though to know there is someone else who understands my pain and frustration. Have doctors discuss doing anything else like exploritory surgery or anything?

that is the next thing they want to do, but im a little nervous about doing it. I saw my doctor yesterday and he pretty much told me I was a mystery., that everything has come back normal.  and hes the best doc in town when it comes to female issues.  He gave a prescription of cymbalta, im not sure I want to take it, but who knows it might help with my pain and depression.  Im getting desperate for relief....ugh!

My mom is nurse and suggested cymbalta but my doctor doesn't want to put me on it cuz of side effects and he said its more for people with fibromialga. However you spell it. Surgery has pros and cons. At least you will know what can be thrown out of what it is. But it is some pain after. I had it last Thursday and still having pain. Plus they still don't know anything. So I kinda feel it was pointless. I don't know what other options I have. Family is trying to come up with remedies and reasons. Scar tissue from rupture cyst got mentioned. But I hope to discuss more when I go back

Iv been doing alot of reserch on cymbalta and no sure If I really want to take it.  It sounds like it does have alot of nasty side effects and I really dont want to add that to what im already going through.  did they just go in and look around or did they do anything while they were in there?  I just worry, I have two small kids and I dont know who I would be able to take care of them and recover at the same time, especially when my husband is at work all day.  :(  I too, think all my problems started when a cyst ruptured.  After they put me on birth control which iv been on for 3 months now and after my last ultra sound it showed that I only have one small follicle left.  But I still have pain, but now it mostly radiates down the right side of my vagina, not inside but near the outside, its really odd, my doctor says im a mystery.  IM just so frustrated, but I am so glad that I found someone to talk to about this, maybe we can help keep each other sane during all this insanity.

They found a small cyst on right overie during first ultrasound. Which didn't make since when at the time my pain was just in left side. The doctor told me the cyst was nothing to worry bout and that it won't causing my pain. They only looked around during surgery. He took pictures so I could see after. Everything looked normal besides the discoloration on pelvic wall and some fluid. I did have some bad pain when I woke up. U can't do heavy lifting for while. Its been week since I had it. I'm just now getting able to walk without pain. I'm scared of possibly having endometriosis and not being able to have kids. It hasn't been ruled out yet :(

did they see any endo while they were in there?  I worry that I might have something like that too, but Iv had two kids, never had any issues getting pregnant, so I dont know....My cousin had endo really bad and her doctor told her the only way to get rid of it was to have babies, she had four of them, but it took her awhile to get pregnant the first time, after that she another and then a set of twins.   she seems to be doing better but still has pain every now and then.   have u been to a urologist yet to rule out all that?  I swear, this stuff get expensive and it ***** when you get all these bills and no answers.

Yea my bills are piling up. They haven't ruled it out yet. I still don't know what the fluid is. I'm scared of having endo but my mom told me of a woman who had it and had kids still with no complication.  When I had cyst rupture doctor told me I was very fertile. And at that time 50/50 chance of being pregnant.  Now I'm worried bout not able to have them. Ill be 24 in a week. I want to have kids within next year. Now I'm scared if its possible

Im sure you will be just fine when it comes to having kids.  I had my first at 25, very exciting times.  then I had my 2nd at 28. Now at 31 one I feel like my lady parts hate me, lol.  Just gotta stay positive and not stress, I know, its hard not to stress, but they say it helps.  when will you find out what the fluid is?  thats is kinda odd to have fluid in there, could another cyst have burst and left it behind?
