Everyone (including men) have a lovely thing called Candida Albicans sitting there in our bodies waiting for the right moment to rear its ugly head. Also known commonly as thrush.

Many women get it set off, simply by taking anti-biotics, or eating spicy foods, or over doing the vaginal fragrance wipes or sprays,  or even swimming in heavily chlorinated water. There are many reasons it comes on.

The GOOD thing is you can cure it easily. Find a nice pharmacy and ask for thrush medication. There are some like Canesten which work really fast. It's a pill. It's not by prescription and it works!

Cheers!

Don't be scared.  Yeast infections are more common than you think.  It could be hygiene, foods that you have eaten,(extra spicy italian gives me one) or even the underwear you wear (they recommend cotton). If you don't want to tell you mom, can you go to clinic on your own?  (trans. $ etc)  If not, go to the store and buy an over the counter medicine for Yeast Infections.  Usually you insert in your vagina for 7 nights (wear panty liner at night for leakage) If it doesn't clear up by then, go to a Doctor and get a pap smear.  At 16, you should be seeing a Gyno for regular check ups against cancer and problems.  Hope this help.
