birth control patch

Hi, I just gave birth to my son last week... now, I am interested in birth control patch.  I used to take bc pills before that I didn't like it much because of mood swings.

Do any of you have been on bc patch?  is it very effective?  what are the advantages/disadvantages?  I'd like to know.  Thanks.

The nuva ring was really easy to use but i was allergic to it, to say the least, had yeast infections etc. ever since put it in. took it out after 2 uses and 3 months later still suffering from them. dont know if it happened to any one else but my body rejected it!!!

I got pregnant while on the patch, and the miscarriage that I had was attributed to the use of the patch. But I get pregnant just thinking about it - my other two kids were also conceived while on some sort of birth control.

The nuva ring is just a vaginal ring inserted once a month.  Go to http://www.nuvaring.com and you should be able to find out more information about it.  The IUD is inserted in your uterus not your vagina.  I was on the Mirena IUD for 3 months and my body was rejecting it so I had to get it removed.

The hormones in the patch are a lot stronger than the pill.  I had horrible migraines, and mood swings on the patch, so I switched to Nuva ring.  Which I like A LOT better.
