brown discharge before period

Hi, I'm 14 years old and I haven't started my period. I think I'm going too soon though, I have been getting white/clear discharge for a few months now and 2 days ago I got browny discharge, is this normal? And I'm also really worried that I'm going to come on, because today it's Thursday and on Monday I'm going swimming with dolphins. I'm really worried that because I've never had my period before and I  won't be able to use a tampon and won't be able to go this is a once in a life time opportunity for me and I'm really scared I can't go. Is there any advise anyone could give me or anything I could do?x

Hi,
Yes it is indeed a dilemma. However the time a period comes for the first time cannot be predicted. Hence you can go ahead with your trip and take help of friends and family as and when the time arrives, about how to use tampons or you can also use pads and liners. Hope this helps.
