I am new to this site but i need answers. My husband came in for the whole month of december. I had my period december the 15th and we had sex every day except for the 5 days of my period. Unprotected. I have had systemtoms of being pregnant. I pee more than usual. i had weird cramps on my left side. My boobs feel heavier and the nipples hurt when i pushed on them. It is now January the 15  my period was soposed to come on the 12th but it didnt and it is now the 15 and my period finally came i have taken 3 pregnancy test before it showed up and they all came out negative.I gave up my hopes, but when i have my period it is very heavy. When i got my period today it was heavy at first but then it has started to die down. Usually i have to change my tampon every 2 hours otherwise i will bleed through but its different it was heavy at first like i said before and now i change every two hours like i should and it not as much blood as usuall (sorry to be up front about it but i need answers). It is more mucussy to. If anybody can help me figure this out i would really appreciate it. I have looked up women having a 2 day period and end up pregnant. So if anybody has answer or experiences please let me know. Thank you for your time if you do reply to me. :)

Not meaning to get your hopes up, but I'd say "yes, it is possible"!!!  Each woman is different.  Each pregnancy unique.  None are ever identical in the gestation or birth.

My THREE personal and/or family examples are:

(1) I was born with a double cervix and a double uterus (aka uteri).  I've had two children.  First was absolutely normal pregnancy - no real problems until delivery when they decided he was breach and performed a C-section.  That child is now 22-yrs old.  Second child, I actually spotted blood throughout my whole entire pregnancy.  Another C-section was performed 'cuz I was dialating on the wrong side...  That child is now 6-yrs old.

(2) My younger sister had her period throughout her whole entire pregnancy.  She's a big-boned gal, but not obese.  She actually lost weight during the pregnancy, but never showed!!  Only towards the end of the pregnancy did she even consider that she might be pregnant and even then when she actually went into labor, she thought she was just constipated or just had bad gas pains...  Also, by the time she got to the hospital, they'd determined that the baby was a preemie, slowed her labor, and sent her to a hospital that specialized in them.  However, by the time the baby was born, the doctors decided that the pregnancy was full-term instead.  This child is now 18-yrs old....

(3) My older sister had her period during her second pregnancy up until her 5th month....  Then it stopped.  This child is now 22-yrs old.

Neither of my sisters have a double cervix or uterus (uteri).  I am the only one, yet they had similar bleeding experiences with their pregnancies....

kayers-it is physically IMPOSSIBLE to get your actual period when you are pregnant. You can't shed the lining of your uterus when your are pregnant, there is a baby attached to it. Look it up, it is impossible. You can have period like bleeding.

When I was pregnant with my first child I had a slightly lighter than normal period the first month when I was pregnant.  I thought I might be pregnant & did a test because I noticed a couple of thing different about my body.  I do not have a double uterous and I have had 2 further babies and this did not happen to me in my other pregnancies.

Out of interest you said that you had sex 10 days straight but if you are trying to get pregnant I would advise against this.  I would suggest doing it every 2 or 3 days to give your partner time to build up more sperm.

Good luck!

your not supposed to get your period when yor pregnant unless you have a double utuers.

you can bleed yes but you dont get your period.

she said she got her period...meaning shes not pregnant

but

if she said she was bleeding without cramps or clots or it lasted only 2 days then she has a chance

btw.....why dont you take a pregnancy test?!

I'd wait a while to tell. However, my mom had her period the first six months of pregnancy with my eldest sister, and the first 3 months of pregnancy with me. Which is why I've never waited until my period to find out. Wait until your next period, if you get it, then it's very unlikely that you are. If you don't, then take a test.

because her chances are slim to none and im not going to worry her like you did. she had sex.........then got her period. if she continues to keep having unprotected sex...after she got her period then yes she can get pregnant. she got her period. shes not pregnant unless she falls in that cateogory of 1% and she would know if she had a double uterus.

im not big on worrying people for no reason. she got her period after she had sex meaning she would not be pregnant.

on GMTV this morning there was a woman who had propper periods throughout her pregnancy so she didnt know she was going to have a baby until 10 mins before she actually gave birth, she went to hospital with tummy pains thinkin she had a tummy bug, so it is possible but very few people do!
hope you are expecting!
