constant vaginal burning, no discharge, improves around the time of my period.

I been to 3 doctors. Burning started 4 month ago. I was treated for yeast while I waited for results from the lab. No STD, but I had BV so got antibiotics. Everything else came back negative. It burns all the time then 2-3 days before my period it improves 95% and starts again 1-2 days after my period. So to sum it up.... Treated for yeast several times with monistat and boric acid. Last 2 tests came back negative for yeast and BV. Premarin vag cream, steroid cream, valtrex for ten days, pre-seed lubricant, baking soda and salt water douche and baths (gave temporary relieve up to 6hrs), vagisil helps with the pain a lot but seems to make her more inflamed so I am not using that anymore, vitamin E suppositories, Excedrin, ibuprofen. Nothing made it go away completely. Now I had gotten a UTI, probably from all the creams and potions and got put on antibiotics for 3 days. Today is day 3 and nothing changed as far as the vag burn. Because it improves with my period, it can't be something I am doing. My body does something when I am between periods to make her burn and I don't know what! It can't be nerve pain caused it would not go away with my period. Maybe CV but there is no abnormal discharge that I can tell. No smell either. Anyone knows of any other type of vaginal diseases that goes away when your period is about to come?

Hm, you've had a full regimen there of 'stuff'.  Please don't douche whether with salt water or at cleaning liquid.  That will make it worse and actually messes up the PH of your vagina and can lead to further yeast or bacterial infections.  Boric acid is know to cause skin irritation.  And Valtrex?  Do you have herpes?  Why were you given Valtrex? Can you try tucks wipes? You put them in your under pants and leave them there. It can be very soothing and healing.  Witch hazel dabbed on the area?  Other than that, you need to again go to your doctor fo diagnose what is going on.  But more may not be better with all this stuff you are using on and off.  good luck

Hey specialmom -- with the herpes I don't even know. Never had any issues, but he tested for it and it came back positive, so he gave me valtrex. I am not a fan of douche, but I am at a point where I figured let's give it a shot and see what happens. I am going to email my doctor again on Monday to see what his next move is. If there was anything out there known by man that matched my symptoms, I could at least mention it to him and see what he thinks.
And I forgot to mention in my post, I stopped all the creams etc to see if she was just irritated from all the treatments. Only taking the antibiotics right now and add sea salt to my bath, since that seems to calm her down a little. Will pick up some witch hazel tomorrow and see what happens. :)
