I am not sure either if it is due to menepause. I would lean more towards a medication that you are on. I take something for my acid reflex and I gotta tell you it constipates the heck out of me. I really need to get better about drinking more fluids because it is not as bad when I stay hydrated.

I'm not sure if this could be realted to pre menopause. When you finally do go to the bathroom have  you ever noticed any blood in your stool or in the toilet at all? I know you have had several tests but you didn't mention anything about a colonoscopy. I would recommend you have one. It is an easy easy prodedure and you are put on a heavy heavy drug so you don't even know what is going on. The doctor sends a scope with a camera on the end through your colon and into your intestines to see what's going on. It sounds alot worse than it really is-I promise!  Talk to your doctor about it! Take care.
