If you have a UTI and you've had it for several days then you probably need to see a doctor for some antibiotics.  You can buy alkalising agents like Ural from the chemist but all these do is mask the symptoms.  You still need to treat the infection.  Cranberry juice can help but it's unlikely to clear the infection.  Other things that will help is lots of liquid, especially water.

If you leave this then it's possible the infection will spread to your kidneys and/or bladder and it can do a lot of damage.  You will need some antibiotics.  The one you will probably get prescribed is Bactrim (sulphamethoxazole and trimethoprim).

could be a UTI, it can be caused by bacteria entering the urethra during sex... you are supposed to either pee or take a shower after words. You can get an at home UTI test from the store (3 come in a pack) for 7 or 8 dollars. You should also call your doctor. If it registers as a UTI you can either drink cranberry juice or take cranberry pills or get medication from the doctor...... but you should either do an at home test first or call your doctor. Best of luck!
