fibrocystic

I am 51 and in menapause. I was told 2 yrs ago I needed a hysterectomy. I have not had the surgery due to I gotta work its just me and the bills need to be paid. But anyway I only in the fast had cramping sometime pretty bad. I had a 5cm cysts 2 yrs ago and now I am experiencing severe cramping, feels like I am in labor and have alot of rectal pressure, and below my panty line on the left side I can see that it is swelled. I won't be able to get into the obgyn till who knows when. What should I do, does this sound like an emergency to make a er visit. Thanks for the info
