first pregnancy and scared!!!!! (testicular cancer)
okay im scared because i dont know who the father is! I first want to say i've been with my boyfriend for 5 yrs and we decided to break up for the first time in sept of 2010. I had protected sex with this guy in october 28 th 2010. He used a condom . I got back with my boyfriend in Nov. the 15th 2010 and started my period on Nov.19th 2010. Now this is why im scared, my boyfriend had testcular cancer about 7 yrs ago and for our entire time we've dated (5yrs) we werent able to conceive. My periods were always regular and usually on time, maybe just a day or two off. So when i found i was pregnant in Decemeber 2010 when my period didnt come, i was happy then got scared because i started thinking oh may gosh it might not be my boyfriends. My sister said my period that i had in Nov. could of been implantion bleeding! so i believe now that is was.. and im asking myself, WHY did i get pregnant, it just seems like bad timing! so now my boyfriend doesnt believe its his cuz of his cancer and all this time we been togather we didnt get pregnant.. Then we break up and get back togather, i become pregnant! Im just really scared becuz its only off by a month .. so if any if you guys wanna put ur input and thoughts i will like to hear from you.. here are the dates: PERIOD - OCT.21th

Kim it's ur boyfriends baby. What u described as ur period in November was not implantation bleeding and was ur period. Stop listening to ur sister Relax and have fun being pregnant. God has blessed u both. And u used a condom with the one night stand. It's def ur boyfriends. Now y'all need to celebrate and b happy. Had it been the one night stands ur baby would b due in July
really thank you so much, yea im really praying that it is my boyfriends..poor guy is really wanting this to be his baby and i know he will be a good daddy i love him so much. and if its not his then this would just break both of our hearts.. i wish i never gotten with that one night stand but we were broken up and i was trying to move on. plus he used a condom but it could of broke you know.. i wasnt on any type of birth control :( i wish it wasnt a month apart. cuz it really scares me that theres a possibility that its the one night stand guy. thanks for ur support, it means alot.
Yes, implantation bleeding is just spotting. It's not going to mimic your period, and it's not going to be heavy. It's your boyfriends. Have paternity testing done if it makes you feel more secure about it.
oh my gosh really ! well what really gets me scared is the implantion bleeding that my sister said i had, which i think it was my period. on Nov.19th. but isnt implantion bleeding just light spotting? what i had in nov. was bright red. Also i wanted to ask you since ur a nurse, if it was the 1 night stand guy wouldnt i get pregnant symptoms in november? I felt normal and fine in nov. My first pregnancy symptom was really bad breast tenderness in dec around the 13th and it lasted about a week. i was still in denial so waited on my period to come thinking it was coming around the 20th but it never did.. smells also got me really nausea finally on jan 1st new years, i got morning sickness.. i went to the doctor and they told me i was 6 weeks pregnant on jan 3. I would really appreciate it, if you could anwser my questions back.. i feel like im not happy about the pregnancy and always stressing out cuz i still think its the 1 night stand guys baby. thank u so so much
I agree with Angee. My friend got married to a man that had prostate cancer and was told he would never have kids. She got pregnant within one week of her marriage. Just because he has testicular cancer does not mean that he is infertile. It just means his chances are lower. If he is still having doubts after the baby is born you can always have a dna test done. Congratulations to you both on your baby.

It's ur boyfriends baby. I'm a nurse and u take ur last period which was nov 19 and subtract 3 months and add 7 days to get the due date. Should b august 26 give or take a few days. Had it been the other guys u would have been due in July. Ob mds use the same tool to cAlculate dates as well. Only takes 1 sperm to fertilize egg. Just bc u have not conceived before with him does not necessarily mean u can't. Congrats and good luck
