I was going to say the exact same thing as lousie. Its just your body returning to the normal amount of hair pre pregnancy

Which makes me think the 'prenatal helps with hair loss' idea is a bit of a myth. Still good to take a prenatal or breastfeeding multi, but it probably won't stop the normal hair loss.

Yeah the hormones makes you 'hold onto' hair that would normally fall out. So (usually 3 or 4 months after birth but could be sooner) you're getting up to a year's worth of hair falling out in a month that would normally have fallen out over the span of a year - it seems like a lot but shouldn't leave you any balder than you were pre-pregnancy!

It's normal there is a hormone that u produce during pregnancy that makes u get thicker n fuller hair so after u deliver a couple of weeks or month when ur body completely stops producing that hormone ur hair stops growing the way it did during pregnancy. It goes back to ur prepregnancy hair

Very normal pregnancy hormones help you grow hair and now those hormones are gone. I really started loosing a lot at about 3 months postpartum.

I have heard that if you continue to take your prenatal for a year after u give birth it helps with hair loss
