hive rash-like symptoms on outer labia

Recently I discovered a hive-like rash on my surrounding vaginal tissue. It only seems to have appeared on the outer labia and nowhere on the inner labia etc. At first I thought it was razor burn but a couple itchy spots have spread to my stomach. I'm prone to allergic reactions and have sensitive skin, so I'm used to getting hive, but not on the groin area. The spots are similar to razor burn, small red, some are small and pimple-like (as if it were an in-grown hair). I am sexually active however, but I wanted to know if anyone new what this might be, or if it was worth seeing a doctor for.

I have posted a picture from the internet that is similar to what I am experiencing. Any input is appreciated.

No I haven't. Do you have a UTI?

I'm not an expert or anything, but if there's a spreading rash near your vagina, definitely go to the doctor! Because it's not like you can apply many creams to heal that area due to its sensitivity. Don't wait it out.
