I had a vag. hysterectomy in 6/06.  I experienced some of the same symptoms that you are having.  It does take awhile to recover.  You will regain your strength as time goes by.  My mother told me to really watch what you do for 6 weeks because it will affect you for the rest of your life.  Eat well, rest, and let your body heal!  You will feel better each day.  At two weeks much better, at 6 weeks, great.  In about 8 weeks you will feel the best you have ever felt.  I am so glad I had my hysterectomy.

Sorry you're feeling so badly but think you've chosen the wrong forum. This is for Ovarian Cancer. There is a "hysterectomy  forum" .. you must have passed it on the forum list. Also, there is a Womens Health forum. Think you'll get more information there.
