irritated clit after sexual touching

Me and my boyfriend were messing around and he started to finger me. After that he 'ate me out'. there was no actual penetration. at one point he temted to enter my vagina with his penis w/o a condom but i stopped him. not to be nasty or so explicit but he only got as far as it kinda resting at the lips of my vagina. i must admit he used his fingeres kind of rough ! the next morning i woke up nd had a irritated clitoris. it doesn't burn or hurt  but feels almost swollen and i guess itchy. it is quite hard to explain but i was wondering if anybody knew what this was..had any advice..or thinks i should be worried.

Me& my boyfriend mess around / have sex almost everyday. After 15 it wuld start itching & I'd notice swelling & become sensitive. It jeeps me from sleeping bc I cnt touch it or it burns at the tip of the clit. This has happened before which made I stop for awhile & we recently began our daily activies again.
It's driving me crazy & I wish if would stop.
I never had this happen before with other ex boyfriends ... So why now?
