First, I am sorry for your loss. If the itching is that bad, I would call your dr. I was told to wait 2 weeks after the m/c to have sex. (I waited 1) I also had a D&C. I got my first period 32 days after I had a m/c. I hope that helps some. Good Luck!

After D&C, I was told to wait one month before having sex.. I guess everyone is different. I was also hemmoraging.. that may have a part to play in it.

I had a m/c in March of this year and had a D&C.  I was told to wait 2 weeks before having sex.  We had sex after the 2 weeks and I was sore, so we waited a couple more days.  After my 2 week checkup, I waited til it would have been time for my cycle and I got back on bc.  My first cycle in April was a little weird and long.  But my cycle in May was perfect like before. Everyone is different...

If this is a kind of condom you have used before, and if the lubrication was the same as before, it probably isn't the condom (unless it has gotten really old and somehow deteriorated).  Some people are allergic to latex, so if it is a new brand (to you) or otherwise different, yes, it could be from the condom.  It could be an infection but it doesn't sound like it because it was so immediate after the sex.  You might want to call your advice nurse and see what she says.

I had a miscarriage May 26 and had the same itchy feeling going
on about a week or two after.  I blamed it on a yeast infection
and bought some creme and used it for several days and it went
away. The nurse said yeast infections are common after miscarriages....hormone levels, yeast build up.
